You're probably sick of hearing about how tough 2008 was. Since April, it seems all we've been hearing about is how terrible the economy is. OK, we get it.
If you feel like you can't make a donation of "significance", you're wrong. Every dollar counts. To prove it, I'm working on launching a campaign that can show the impact of one dollar. Hopefully, the campaign will be up and running by February of 2009. And, if all goes according to the way I think it can, my first big venture into fundraising will make a splash, and show us all the value of a single dollar bill.
For now, if things feel tight, just find a cause, and donate $1. Here are a couple of causes that are raising money via ChipIn, and you can donate as little as $1:
One dollar, collected from enough people, really adds up. We have the tools to raise money this way...the goal of my fundraising project is to illustrate just how powerful we can all be, one dollar at a time.
